George Panos (Kleros), age 88. Cherished son of the late Petros and Fontini Kleros; devoted husband of the late Angeliki (Kiki) Panos; loving father of Franny (Mike) Kotlan and Peter (Kiki) Panos; proud Papou to Angelina and Alexander Panos; dear brother to the late Evthoxia (the late Panagiotis) Gialis; late Nick Kleros; late Angelo Kleros; Gus (the late Demetra) Kleros; Angelina (the late Labros) Pappas; Taki (Maria) Panagiotopoulos (Kleros) and beloved Uncle to many. George came to the United States on a boat in 1955. George traveled to the US to follow in his brother’s footsteps and create a better life for himself and his future family. George truly loved all his siblings, no matter the trials and tribulations they endured. George met the love of his life, Kiki, in Athens Greece. They married in Greece in 1972 and soon after, started a family in Chicago. Kiki was his everything and the matriarch of the family. George loved spending summers in Greece and traveling to the islands with his family. He had a great sense of humor, always making people laugh, even through the most difficult times. George was a fighter and optimist up until the very end. George will be deeply missed by his family and loved ones here and in Greece. May His Memory be Eternal.
