Alicja A. Aleszczyk
October 12, 2024 – 1:30pm cst
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alicja Agata Aleszczyk on October 9, 2024 at the age of 42. Alicja was born on November 16, 1981 to Barbara and Stanislaw Aleszczyk in Chicago, IL. She was the beloved sister to Anna and Randy Knoebel, Kasia and David Varney and Klaudia and Ryan Jordan. Adored aunt to Preston, Hazel and Penelope. Partner and soul mate to Tony Kubsik. Cherished cousin and niece to many.
Her life was one filled with a tenacious energy. She left an imprint on anyone that came across her path. One to always silently jump in and offer assistance without anyone having to ask her. Her laughter was contagious and lit up a room. Her aura and energy was consistently drawing people to her. She loved her family fiercely especially her nephew and nieces. It was for them and Tony that she kept fighting her battle with cancer.
As the oldest sister and cousin she was always the first to pave paths. The first to get a license and subsequent speeding tickets. The first to go to college and quickly decide that it wasn’t for her. Then later lead a successful career in Retail Management. No matter what anyone told her she stood her ground and kept blazing a trail wherever she went.
She loved and protected everyone close to her. Quickly being welcomed by Tony’s family and becoming one with them. That is how she was, adapting swiftly and being loved by everyone she met. She walked to the beat of her own drum and lived her life the way that she wanted, not how anyone told her to. When opportunities struck she jumped at a new adventure, because why not? Her view on life and her strong will were admirable. That is how we will always remember her strong, fierce, passionate and full of life. We love you our sweet Alicja.
