Zalman “Zammy” Makower, 89, of Morton Grove, Illinois. Beloved husband of Ruth Makower; loving father of Iris (Bill) Zuckerman and Donny (Elena) Makower; proud grandfather of Orly, Talia, and Eitan Zuckerman, and Mia and Jake Makower; caring brother of Ziva (Aaron) Shalomoff. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, Illinois, 60091. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Magen David Adom (www.afmda.org), Moriah Congregation (www.moriahcong.org) or Solomon Schechter Day School (www.schechter.org) .
