Beloved wife of John F. Mulry for 34 years.
Loving mother of Sean Mulry, Mary Kate (Dennis) Marshall, and Colleen Mulry.
Proud grandmother of Shea Mary Marshall.
Beloved daughter of the late Mary Anne (nee Harrington) and James P. Gallagher.
Dear sister of John (Virginia) Gallagher, Kathleen (George) Craig, Elizabeth (Tim) Shanahan, Therese (Tom) O’Brien, and Jim Gallagher Jr.
Devoted sister-in-law of Tim (Barbara) Mulry, Mary Mulry, and Theresa (Tom) Szarzynski.
Mary Ellen was loved and will be dearly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Mary Ellen was a gracious hostess with exceptional cooking skills, enjoyed entertaining by her pool, and loved travel, especially to Ireland.
She is fondly remembered for her competitive spirit on the golf course, volleyball court, and in all-night Euchre games.
Visitation Sunday, April 11, 2021, 2-8pm at Curley Funeral Home (Heeney-Laughlin Directors), 6116 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge, IL 60415. Covid-19 guidelines for social distancing and masks to be observed by attendees.
Family and friends will meet at St. Bernadette Church, 9343 S. Francisco Ave.,
Evergreen Park, IL 60805 on Monday, April 12, 2021 for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Livestream of the Funeral Mass will be available beginning at 11:30am
