She was a former president of the Crete-Monee Band and Orchestra Boosters, officer of the Crete Elementary P.TO & member of the Christian Education Board at Faith United Protestant Church in Park Forest. In recent years, she enjoyed playing bunco, was a member of the Happy Bookers Book Club and spent many summer nights with the neighborhood garage therapy group. Above all else, she loved attending all of her grandchildren’s many sports and activities, including gymnastics, track and diving meets, dance recitals, plays, concerts, cheer competitions, softball, baseball, basketball, soccer, football, and flag football games. She was and will always be their number one fan. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
