Owen Hannon

Owen Hannon, passed away on April 11th, 2023 at the age of 99. He was born on April 21st, 1923 in Greencastle, County Donegal, Ireland. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret who passed away in 1993; loving father of Eileen (Joseph) Cukierski, Noreen Hannon, Margaret (Richard) Legendre; and Kathleen (Fred) Cecala; proud and cherished grandfather of Kevin, Joseph and Daniel Cukierski, Ian and Ryan Cecala; great-grandfather of Evelyn, Amelia, Theodore, Berrie and Adeline; fond brother of the late Peter, Jim, Belle Lenaghan, Molly, Tom, Martin, Ann Chambers and Frank; and much loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation that will be held on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Zachary Parish, 567 West Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, Illinois 60018. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery.
