Evelyn Phillips – Lund
FEBRUARY 12, 1935 – APRIL 19, 2023

Evelyn was born on February 12,1935 to the late Axel and Mari (Andersen Olsvigen) Moen in Dallas, WI. She graduated from Chetek High School with the class of 1952. Shortly after graduation, at the age of 17, she married the late Harvey E. Lund. They moved to Illinois and together had 3 daughters. They later divorced in 1981 but always remained good friends. Evelyn later became a real estate agent where she met Gordon R. Phillips, a retired Navy Commander who also sold real estate. They married in 1990 in Hawaii. Gordon passed away in 2002.
Evelyn is survived by her three children; Wanda (Mike) Johnson of Kihei, Hawaii, Cindy (Paul) Guide of Moab, Utah, and Lori (Dave) Wilk of Westmont, Illinois. Eight grandchildren; Mike (Aimee) Johnson, Bill Johnson, Danny (Sheilah) Johnson, Brooke (Ulises) Ortiz, Matt Guide, Ryan Guide, Nicole (Dave) Bordon, and Danny Wilk. Eleven great grandchildren; three step children; six step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mari and Axel Moen; 3 brothers, and 3 sisters; her late first husband, Harvey E. Lund; her late husband Gordon R. Phillips; her grandson, David Anthony Wilk.
A visitation for Evelyn will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 11AM, at Deltona Memorial Gardens Cemetery 1295 Saxon Blvd. in Orange City, FL 32763 where she will be laid to rest by her late husband, Gordon Phillips in the Garden of Glory, Lot 98 in Space 4 with luncheon to follow.
