Elsie E. Aleck, age 96, a resident of Smith Crossing in Orland Park, formerly of Homewood, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. Loving wife of the late Henry G. Aleck; beloved mother of Jimmy (Jeanie Bradley) Aleck, Kathy (Jim O’Toole) Aleck, Trisha Aleck, Dr. Thomas (Marie) Aleck, Susan (Mike) Winkelstein, Peter (Donna) Aleck, John (Kim) Aleck and Tim (Jodi) Aleck; proud grandmother of Holly (Don Whitehead) Henderson, Matthew (Courtney) Butchko, Nick (Adam Crow) Aleck, Amy (Wilson) Hughey, Paul (Christie) Aleck, Brian (Jill) Aleck, Max Winkelstein, Jordan (Jordan Russell) Aleck, Henry (Casey) Aleck, Caroline (Tom Hall) Aleck, Dr. Jake (Elizabeth) Aleck, Lucas Aleck, Claire Aleck, Reed Aleck, Grace Aleck, Elsie Aleck and the late Kevin Aleck; cherished great grandmother Korbin Vlasak, Mia Aleck, Emma Aleck and Dawson Aleck. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 9:00am until 11:00am leaving for St. George Catholic Church, 6707 175th St. Tinley Park, IL 60477 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow to Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Glenwood. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes) www.jdrf.org would be appreciated.
