Gladys M. Tritle

Gladys M. Tritle was born on her family’s farm seven miles south of Rolla, Kansas in Morton County on June 1, 1921. Gladys was born to Henry U. and Maggie (Cutler) Gerber. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband George Bachman, their beloved sons Donald Bachman and Raymond Bachman, her sister Grace (Arlyss) Simmons, her brothers Henry Clay (Lurline) Gerber, Glenn (June) (Rita Beth) (Mary Ruth) Gerber, Lynn (Gertrude) Gerber, her granddaughter’s husband Roger Stock, her grandson’s wife Kelly Bachman and her second husband Seth Tritle.
To miss her is her daughter Patricia (E. Anthony) Ciccotelli, Cheri (Donald) Bachman, Elma (Raymond) Bachman, grandchildren Cheryl (Bill) Cooney, Susan Stock, David (Nancy) Ciccotelli, Joanna (Ryan) Abrahamson, Douglas (Michele) Bachman, Mark (Leah) Bachman, Eric (Erin) Bachman, Rebecca (Brian) Munro, Kristine Chandler, Ryan (Mona) Bachman, seventeen great grandchildren, and six great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and Greg (Bev) Tritle, Steve (Barbara) Tritle.
If you had talked to Gladys, she would say that serving Jehovah God and his son, Jesus Christ, was her whole life and she firmly believed that the Kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for will soon fulfill Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more.” And as Psalm 37:29 says, “The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.” Gladys shared in the Christian ministry with the New Lenox Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL on Saturday, December 21 from 9:00 AM until the time of Service at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery New Lenox, IL.
