Kenneth J. Beauvais

Kenneth John Beauvais, age 64, of New Lenox, IL, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Erneste and Beverly (nee Chamberlin) Beauvais, Kenneth was born in Lake Forest, IL.
Ken was an Eagle Scout, and as an adult remained active in the Order of the Arrow, Scoutings National Honor Society. Ken was a founding member of the MSR Remembrance Area Committee, and various other Boy Scout committees.
Ken was with the Illinois EPA for 35 years, currently having the title of Senior Public Service Administrator.
Ken’s greatest love in life was his family. He was a devoted and dedicated father. He was present and participated wholeheartedly in his children’s lives. His unconditional love and support were a guiding force. Ken was later promoted to the position of “gpa”, pouring his love and attention into his three grandchildren.
Ken loved the outdoors. He shared a beautiful property where he and Lynne enjoyed spending time together caring for their horses and the beautiful grounds of their farm.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Lynne (nee Rossbacher) Bryant; daughters, Lauren (Jason) Racine and Lindsay Beauvais; stepson, Nicholas (Stephanie) Bryant; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emmersyn, and Caden Racine; siblings, Judy (Tony) Abate and Kevin (Therese) Beauvais; uncle to Nicholas and Alexis Abate; beloved uncle, cousin, friend, and mentor to many. The family will receive friends and family at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL on Saturday February 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Ken’s honor to MA-KA-JA-WAN Scout Reservation to provide camp scholarships. http://www.neic.org/beauvais
