Mindy S. Evans-Williams, age 58, of Manhattan passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Silver Cross Hospital with family at her side. Survived by her daughter McKenna Williams, her siblings Mickey (Kevin) O’Connor, Blane (Denise) Evans, Melissa (John) Wilder, Stacy (Jim-2011) Nietfeldt, Brad (Patti) Evans, Andrea (Jimbo) Roberts and Shawn (Jessica) Evans, 18 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews and close friend Dan Bowman. Preceded in death by her parents James and Beverly (Gamble) Evans. Mindy was an avid Chicago White Sox fan, she enjoyed watching the discovery channel and the history channel, especially Curse of Oak Island. Mindy was the gossip tree in the family, the hub of family communications. She found ancestry.com interesting and liked scrabble and sudoku. Mindy had many loves in life; babies, pink, flowers and fall but what brought Mindy the most joy in life was spending time with her family. Visitation for Mindy will be on Monday, October 25, 2021, from 3-8:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. with family receiving friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Cremation to follow.
