Ruth Ann Kerns, 68, lifelong resident of Hammond, IN passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She is survived by her cousins, Shelia Schumacher, Joe (Kathy) Morris, and Gladys Morris; Dear friends, Mary Kaczka, Juanita Sheffield, Sharon Bartel, and Regina Wilkes. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Jeanette Kerns, uncle, Harold Morris.

 Funeral service will be on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Kneseth Israel Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, have a tree planted in Israel for more information contact Congregation Beth Israel in Munster.

 Ruth Ann was a devoted daughter and niece who was a caregiver for her parents and uncle. She graduated from Lafayette Grade School, Hammond High School, and Calumet College St. Joseph. Ruth Ann was an avid Cubs fan and loved the color purple.
