Thomas Mirabella was preceded in death by his Grandmother Angeline Nugent, Aunt Marie & Uncle Joe Olsen, Aunt Charlene Johnson, Uncle Bobby Johnson, Uncle Clement “Joe” Robles, Uncle William Purciarello, Thomas J. Mirabella Sr, Jackie Fettig, Anthony Calzaretta, Micheal Calzaretta.

Thomas worked as Local Two Elevator Mechanic for many years, before retiring due to his declining health. He loved spending time with his service dog Romeo and watching the White Sox. Thomas can be remembered for his profound sense of humor, and a way with stories that could take over a room. Thomas was well known for his strong union beliefs and representing Local 2 in other states. Thomas was not only a loving son, but he was also a devoted brother, and a role model to his nephews. There is nothing Thomas would not do for his family. Thomas had an extreme amount of love and dedication to every friendship that crossed his path, praying for the best for every one of them no matter the circumstances. Thomas touched so many lives and will truly be missed.

A memorial visitation for Thomas will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Thomas visitation will be lived streamed from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A link will be provided soon for you to view the service on Friday. Interment Private.
