Rev. William T. O’Mara, age 94. Chicago Archdiocesan Priest ordained in 1958. Devoted son of the late Esther (nee Barker) and Leslie O’Mara; dearest brother of the late Mary Doris (the late Earl) John, Richard Sr., Sr. Esther IBVM, and Michael (the late Barbara) O’Mara; cherished uncle of Mary Morin, Paul (Maureen) Morin, Jane Morin, Thomas (Edna) Morin, Elizabeth (Daren) Jones, Patrick (Susan) O’Mara, Kathleen O’Mara, the late Daniel Morin and Peter Morin; dear grand and great-grand uncle of many nieces and nephews. Fr. Bill was the Associate Pastor of Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 1958-1964; Teacher, AD, Coach at Quigley Seminary South, 1964-1977; Principal at Bishop T. K. Gorman High School, Tyler TX, 1978-1986; Founding Pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 1987-2004; Chaplain at Marian Catholic High School, 2004-2022; Resident Assistant at Our Lady of the Heights Church, 2004-2022. Visitation: Monday, June 1, 3:00-7:00 P.M., at Our Lady of the Heights (St. Kieran) Church, 724 W. 195th St., Chicago Heights; and Tuesday, June 2, at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 9300 W. 167th St., Orland Hills from 2:30 P.M., until time of Funeral Mass, at 7:00 P.M.
